The Italian political and legal landscape around immigration has become increasingly repressive over the years, resulting in an increase in the number of undocumented migrants due to restrictive laws<\/strong>.<\/p>

Provisions for residence permits<\/strong> andasylum<\/strong> determinationare further aggravated<\/strong> by economic and social stagnation due to the health crisis, which has led to an increase in the number of homeless migrants with psychosocial frailties.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

For these reasons, Mosaico conceived the Channels of Solidarity project<\/strong>, which, in collaboration with the Kriol legal team, aims to create a holistic approach to offering support to migrants who find themselves in conditions of extreme vulnerability<\/strong> and\/or at risk of detention.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Since 2020, the multidisciplinary team assisted by civil and institutional networks has been working on the design of pathways for migrants at risk of irregularity, marginalization and\/or detention, ensuring that they are listened to and consciously participate in building their future.<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Within the Channels of Solidarity project is the day last Dec. 15, organized by the National Cinema Museum Association, Mosaico Refugees and the Immigration Legal Studies Association.<\/strong> organized the event of last December 15. The day focused on the Tunisian situation, because it is from this country that, in recent years, the largest number of people detained without any type of crime within the CPR have come.<\/p>
