June 15-20, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The organization of International Rights, Cultures and Environment Week, <\/strong>promoted annually by Mosaico on World Refugee Day, coincides this year with the celebration of Mosaico – Azioni per i Rifugiati’s 20 years of civil and social commitment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This celebration, titled “RIGHTS TO THE POINT,”<\/strong> will be an opportunity to share the experience of the association that was born in the early 2000s out of the desire of refugees welcomed into the city to get involved and actively participate in community life.<\/p>\n\n

From the beginning, the goal has been to support those who would arrive later, so that they could face their journey with fewer difficulties, and to enhance the contribution that migration can make to the community when appropriate means of reception are created.<\/p>\n\n

In the wake of this commitment, the proposed path intends to transform the memory and experiences gained into an opportunity for collective discussion and construction. The path will, therefore, be punctuated by moments of sharing, designed to retrace the history of the association, enhance lived experiences and open a space for dialogue on the future of rights, inclusion and coexistence between cultures. <\/p>\n\n

It will also be an opportunity for Mosaico, together with its European partners, to share with institutions and other actors in the area the approach of social mediation<\/strong>, understood as a tool capable of fostering neighborly relations and strengthening social ties within communities.<\/p>\n\n

The festival represents not only a series of events, but is shaped as an experience of active civic participation and social change. Its impact on the city is extensive and multifaceted. On the one hand, it contributes to consolidating the social fabric through inclusive practices and ties of closeness; on the other hand, it enhances the image of Turin as an open city capable of innovation in the field of cultural and social policies. The project, supported by a solid network of collaborations with public bodies, foundations, third sector entities and museums, constitutes a good practice also recognized in the European sphere, thanks to the association’s role within networks such as ECRE and CreE-A. <\/p>\n\n

Ultimately, the Rights to the Point<\/strong> Festival represents a concrete space for advocacy, a public stance: there can be no true welcome without dignity, no inclusion without listening and recognition, just as there can be no full citizenship without guaranteeing everyone the opportunity to participate, express themselves and imagine their future.<\/p>\n\n
