With the group “We are not alone”, refugee women participate in regular listening and mutual support meetings. It is a safe space in which to discuss needs and desires, share experiences and build paths to autonomy. Alongside this, through collaboration with the Frantz Fanon Center, the group is enriched with moments conducted with an ethnoclinical approach, which allow to process complex experiences and strengthen personal resources.
Workshops and pathways
The project also devotes a pathway to refugee children, with art therapy workshops designed to stimulate creativity and process emotions related to the migration experience. Through expressive activities and games led by professionals, the youngest children find a space in which to feel welcome and be able to build new forms of sociality.
IncontrArti is not just a set of workshops, but a community journey: it strengthens the internal bonds of refugee families and opens up spaces for dialogue with the citizenry, promoting a culture of inclusion that values the talents and voices of those who have experienced forced migration.
