Workshop “Refugees – Pathways between assistance and protagonism”

Assistance and protagonism as two poles of a complex and non-linear path that will be explored in depth during the morning
through the analysis of project experiences from the Piedmont territory and the contribution of experts, operators, asylum seekers, refugees and holders of international protection.

  • Introduction to World Refugee Day – Elena Ferretti (UNHCR)
  • Asylum and the North African emergency: rights and autonomy denied? – Silvia Pescivolo (Amnesty International Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta)
  • Presentation of Non Siamo Sole and Free Press projects with talks by operators, asylum seekers, refugees and international protection holders
  • The Residence Junction – Joli Ghibaudi (Non Solo Asylum Coordination)
  • A Place in the World – Roberto Beneduce, Roberto Bertolino, Simona Taliani (Ass. Frantz Fanon)
  • Lunch will follow for all participants
