Mosaico’s active projects focus on theoretical-practical reflection on social mediation. This method is designed to reactivate individuals’ personal resources, ensuring their ability to manage their lives independently in the long term. A four-pronged system of social mediation has been developed.
Street social mediation, aimed at reaching vulnerable individuals who may not independently seek the services of Mosaico or other similar associations. It offers guidance and support to migrant people stationed or transiting in key areas of the city.
Mbongui social mediation space offering listening and support from refugee operatorə. Aims to restore dignity and give assistance, guiding people in social inclusion in a foreign and often hostile environment. The goal is to build or repair ties between asylum seekers, refugees and the City’s institutions.
Multifunctional Common Space Center with a “One-Stop-Shop” approach. Provides accessible services and information to beneficiaries of international protection, supporting social inclusion, integration and autonomy. This space also includes a dedicated service for refugee students.
Mediation spaces in Neighborhood Houses, key places for socialization throughout the city, further extending the reach of social mediation. Bringing migrant people closer to these spaces of active citizenship is of strategic importance in supporting refugee people.
