Art exhibition, musical performance and social dinner “Feeling at home”
Location: Dar al Hikma Cultural Center (Via Gianfrancesco Fiochetto 15, Turin)
Time: from 5:00 p.m.
The event will be opened by institutional greetings from:
- Maria Grazia Grippo, President of the City Council
- Younis Tawfik, president of the Dar al Hikma Cultural Center
- Colette Njiasse Meffire, President of Mosaico – Azioni per i Rifugiati
- Giampiero Leo, vice chair of the Regional Human Rights Committee.
During the evening, the “To My Dreams I Don’t Give Up” art contest exhibition will be opened, featuring works created by refugee and migrant background artistə selected through the “To My Dreams I Don’t Give Up” art contest curated by Mosaico and works by artist Réné Bokoul.
The winning artists, along with other participants, took part in an art residency at Orsolina 28 from June 17-19 led by artist Valerie Tameu.
Works created by the refugee women’s group “We Are Not Alone” will also be presented.
The evening will conclude with a performance by the “The Abbaini” choir and a shared social dinner.

Workshop “Food and climate: feeding ourselves in times of migration and change”
Location: Octavius Mario Mai Avenue
Timetable: from 6:00 p.m.
Activity: Participatory workshop to explore the impact of climate change on eating habits in different geographical contexts of migration. Through different case studies, we will explore how the everyday dimension of food is affected by the environmental crisis and forced migration.
